Weizmann Limited, was incorporated on 25.11.1985. The Company is listed in BSE and NSE. Initially the Company was engaged in Textile Processing and Exports, A to Z of Non Banking Finance Activities and in early 1990's commenced Money Changing Business as FFMC registered with RBI and later extended the activities as representative of Western Union Money Transfer in 1998, Merchant Banking from 1992. The company in 1994 promoted Weizmann Homes Limited, a Housing Finance Company and also ventured into Renewable Energy sector by Developing Wind Farms and also undertaking manufacture of Wind Electric Generators through Joint Venture Collaboration.

Over a period the Company demerged its Money Changing and Money Transfer business to group company Weizmann Forex Limited and consumer finance to Weizmann Homes Limited. In 2007 the entire stake holding in Weizmann Homes Limited was transferred to AIG Group.

Currently the company is concentrating on its core business of Textile Processing and Exports predominantly to African countries. The processing unit of the company is situated at Naroda, Ahmedabad.

The company in 2008 invested in 55% equity in a Textile Processing Unit viz. Knitwear Industries Limited, Malawi so as to be closer to the African market for its textile business.
